Excellent customer service! We arrived at our condo on Friday evening and it was 84 degrees inside. Not knowing who to call, my husband searched on-line and tried to call a few companies. The lady who answered the phone at Weikle was very nice and said someone would be out on Saturday morning between 9:00 - 10:00 AM. David Weikle, technician, arrived promptly and immediately identified the problem. He was very efficient and professional! We highly recommend Weikle Hometown Heating & Air.

Moved to the area last year into a home that has mini split units installed. The previous owner had left us information on who she had been using to service the mini splits. After two less than satisfactory appointments with that company, Weikles was recommended by someone else. Called David yesterday (Labor Day) with a problem with one of the units. David came out today and not only addressed the problem, but gave my wife and I an education on using mini split units. He was not in a hurry to move onto the next job, but took the time to explain how to properly operate the units. We will be signing a service contract with David next week. My AC stopped working, it wouldn’t blow cold air. The Freon must of leaked out. The unit is a touch over 2 years old. Called the original company that installed it and they wanted to charge over $1000 for repairs. They were only going to provide 60 day warranty.I heard about Weikle’s from coworkers. There were 3 coworkers that used them. I’m super happy that I called them. They got it up and running for a fraction of what the original company wanted to charge. They will return to check for leaks and to see what needs to be done to fix it.Based on the “mom and pop” service that they provided, I trust that they would have honest and fair pricing. Unlike the other company that wanted to nickel and dime for random stuff, like torch fee, vacuum and so onI plan on using Weikle’s for my in laws in the future to check their AC system to ensure that everything is good

We have had issues with our new construction HVAC system for the past 3 years. We tried a few different HVAC companies but either got the answer "that's normal in the South" or that they would need to do an involved investigation of the problem. Finally, we gave Weikle's a call. Our technician (David) walked in to the attic and immediately identified the issue without even touching the unit. After the initial fix was in place, David inspected the entire system and found several other issues that were affecting our AC. He showed me the ones that I could do myself, and then he took care of the rest. We "HIGHLY" recommend Weikle's Hometown Heating & Air and will use them in the future.

Just bad luck.David made it out the same day and quickly diagnosed both units.I knew before David came, we were not repairing the downstairs unit, which was installed in 1997. Hard to ask more than 27 years from a system on Oak Island.David quickly repaired the upstairs unit. We scheduled the downstairs replacement a week later. David kept his schedule and communicated extremely well. We did have a minor issue with the new unit. I called David and he was at our place within 30 minutes. I rarely take the time to do a review for any company but I definitely will make an exception for Weikles Hometown heating and Air. I just got home to my house in Oak island yesterday and was working late on the exterior of the home. To my surprise I went in and of course the A/C was not working. I received a recommendation from Oak island page to contact Weikles. I did and within an hour a young man name David was at my door. Within an hour my A/C was back on. I expected to pay an arm and leg but that wasn’t the case. He also came back today to put a little more Freon in my system as he ran a little short the previous night. So, we took a chance and had David come to check things out. We were very impressed with the service. He gave a very thorough checkup, cleaning, replacing defective parts, and reprogramming our system to run more efficiently. Pricing was very reasonable, he was very respectful (wore shoe covers and made sure all was clean before he left), suggested repairs to be made but never pressured. And, offered a yearly Maintenace Agreement which saved us money upfront as well as for future repairs, if needed. David is great. He's timely and honest and goes beyond what's expected. While doing routine maintenance he checked arouf the attic and spotted a wet spot where there was a leak from the roof. That saved me from what could have been a lot of damage and high cost. This was beyond what anyone would expect from your HVAC company. You can't fo wrong using Hometown.
