He gave a very thorough checkup, cleaning, replacing defective parts, and reprogramming our system to run more efficiently. Pricing was very reasonable, he was very respectful (wore shoe covers and made sure all was clean before he left), suggested repairs to be made but never pressured. And, offered a yearly Maintenace Agreement which saved us money upfront as well as for future repairs, if needed. David is great. He's timely and honest and goes beyond what's expected. While doing routine maintenance he checked arouf the attic and spotted a wet spot where there was a leak from the roof. That saved me from what could have been a lot of damage and high cost. This was beyond what anyone would expect from your HVAC company. You can't fo wrong using Hometown.

I talked to David about coming out to install a WiFi thermostat for my HVAC system. We spoke on the phone probably 20 minutes discussing what I wanted to do and needed, even before scheduling the appointment. He was very thorough and knowledgeable to what I needed to install.David was right on time, very professional, and most of all knowledgeable of what he was doing. He took his time with me explaining the operation and functions of the new thermostat, and answered all other questions I had. After calling, they came out the same day. Assessed what was tripping our breaker and fixed right then! Saved us from our home burning down! Cleaned our system AND changed the filters! Polite, professional, reasonable, and timely!

David is a knowledgeable professional that helped us immensely. He found a shorted wire in our system and fixed it promptly. He also checked for code violations that others were trying to charge us to "fix" and saved us from getting ripped off by other companies. We look forward to doing more business with him. Don’t write reviews often but David was great. I blew a fuse at my buddies trying to install a new thermostat hot and David was there the next morning, troubleshot, and fixed it fast. Very reasonable price as well

David quite possibly saved my home. I found his company via a recommendation on Nextdoor, and on my first annual maintenance check on a new construction, David found two critical errors that the builder's contractors made, one of which was a serious fire hazard from the dryer vent not being properly extended out from the attic. David called the Codes Dept and a representative came out that day to assess. The contractor was notified and they also came out that day to repair based on the potential danger this error imposed. David also followed up with me to ensure the work was completed.I have dealt with service contractors with several homes that I have owned. He is the first that ever responded to my initial call within one hour and scheduled an appointment within a very reasonable time period. David is very courteous, thorough, and his costs are very fair. Thank you, David, for your concern for my safety and that of my home.

We have had David work on several projects - and each one has been excellent. He solved a major duct issue we had from our original HVAC/Duct install from another company - solved stains on our ceilings and greatly reduced the number of bugs we have seen. He is extremely knowledgeable about HVAC and other home issues. Very trustworthy and shows up on schedule. Great communication. This area is lucky to have him!

I can’t say enough good things about the company. David is a true gem! We just bought our home in July and have had him out twice since then. Once for repair of our unit and Freon added and the second was a blown fuse. Both times we have called he has scheduled us very quickly and his work is impeccable! A realtor friend of our’s recommended us to David after our AC went out with and was not working properly after the recent power outage here in Southport. We first had the company who installed our HVAC when we built our house and who had always maintained it come out to assess it and repair it. They said we had a very small leak and did a repair of some kind, but said we needed to replace a coil and were really encouraging us to just get an entire new system at a very high price because our house is nine years old now. We wanted a second opinion due to the very high estimated cost , so we had David com out and he spent hours assessing and testing our HVAC and said everything looked very good and that we did not need an repairs at this time! So happy we asked a trusted friend for a good recommendation and that we got a second opinion before doing anything else! I recently installed one of those DIY ductless units. The install was simple and straightforward, however, I was left with an extra 12 feet of the line set. I didn't like the look off it being could up behind the condenser.After reaching out to the local community for recommendations to shorten the lines, Weikle's was the number one choice.He was very professional, and was able to squeeze me into his schedule two days later. He showed up on time sand for right to work. Two hours later, he was done and after chatting with him for a few minutes, I knew I had made the right choice.

David replaced my aging heating and air package system. I live near Southport NC and the estimates and expected dates were ridiculous. A friend recommended David and I'm very grateful I contacted him. His estimate was actually reasonable, the equipment was as promised, and he made sure all the peripheral issues were taken care of. (Never knew how much damage critters can do to ductwork.) He also contacted me when equipment showed up early to arrange for faster installation.
